Investigation and statistical analysis were carried out on berry color , shape , mass and size of 94 varieties of seedless grape and 40 varieties of Kyoho type grape collected in National Grape Germplasm Repository Zhengzhou for three years. The results showed that there were profile genetic diversity in seedless grape. Variation coefficient both berry mass and berry size were much greater than that of Kyoho type grape. The average mass of
seedless grape was in range from 1.0 to 5.0 g . Almost half of tested varieties had medium mass in 1.5 - 2.5 g ,The available description standards both domestic and international was considered to be not suitable for evaluating berry size and berry mass of seedless grape. Based on the result of the study , the new additional method for this purpose are suggested.
Effects of relative soil water content on the changes of chlorophyll content , photosynthesis and the parameters of chlorophyll fluorescence in pistachio ( Pistacia vera L. ) leaves were investigated. The results were as follows : the content of Chl1a and Chl1b and the net photosynthetic rate in pistachio leaves were decreased while the content of carotenoid were enhanced by drought stress. The activity of PS Ⅱand the parameter of chlorophyll fluorescence in pistachio leaves such as conversion efficiency of primary light energy ( Fv/ Fm) of PS Ⅱ, the photochemical quenching coefficient (qP) , the Non2photochemical quenching coefficient (qN) and the quantum yield of PS Ⅱelectron transport (ΦPS Ⅱ) were decreased respectively when the relative soil water content is 20 %. The reasons of Pn decreased were stomatal and nonstomatal limitation respectively in light and severe drought stress condition. Under drought stress , It is a primary reason of net photosynthetic rate decreasing in pistachio leaves that the the quantum yield of PS Ⅱelectron transport (ΦPS Ⅱ) were reduced by soil drought and high irradiance.
Agronomic characters and biochemical matter contents in flower buds and leaves of the two CMS lines 9704A and 8214A , of their each maintainers and F1 hybrids for sterile line ×restorer and maintainer ×restorer in pepper were studied. Results showed that differences in plant height between the two kinds of hybrids reach significant level . POD activity in sterile linespflower buds and leaves is higher than that in maintainersp, still the activity in hybrids for sterile line ×restorer is significantly , even very significantly higher than that in hybrids for maintainer ×restorer. Sterile lines contain less free praline than maintainers in the flower buds , and the content in hybrids for sterile line ×restorer is significantly , even very significantly lower than that in hybrids for maintainer ×restorer. IAA content in sterile linespflower buds and leaves is lower than that in maintainersp. ABA content in sterile linespleaves is higher than that in maintainersp, but the vise versa in their flower buds. No obvious laws are found in the effect of the male sterile genes on content change of IAA , ABA and ZRs in hybrids yet .
The experiment was conducted with five species of citrus Huanglongbing material . On the base of the bioassay , we used PCR and Nested2PCR were used to detect precisely. The special DNA fragment was cloned and sequenced. The results showed that : both of these two PCR methods can detect the material with no obvious symptom. However the Nested-PCR was better : It could detect the Catharanthus roseas and Citrus reticulata Blanco just within one or two months after the inoculation ; but when PCR was used , the pathogen could be detected over two months after inoculation. The lowest concentration of DNA that can be detected by Nested2PCR was lower than fg , yet PCR is only pg. The sensitivity of Nested2PCR is nearly ten thousand times higher than that of PCR.
This paper uses Analytic Hierchy Process to Appraise 30 Osmanthus fragrans cultivars in Hubei Province , and gets marks of each cultivar. This method can both appraise the priority of cultivars and offer theoretical basis on application of Osmanthus fragrans cultivars.
‘Tainong Tianmi’is a new peach cultivar introduced from Taiwan province. The origin is Brazil named‘Premier’. It can flowering and bearing under the condition of 54 hours of ≤7.2 ℃ during the season of winter. It is a high-yielding variety. The fruit yield was 27.5 t/ hm2 and 38.4 t/ hm2 after planting 2 - 3 year , respectively. The soluble soild content of 10.3 % - 14.5 % and 147.8 g of single fruit .
