Studies of Effects of Several Factors on Anther Culture of Capsicum annuum L.

Abstract: Four genotypes of pepper were used to study the effects of AgNO3,Vitamin C,carbon source,nitrogen source,harvest time,plant growth regulator on the anther culture of Capsicum annuum L. through orthogonal tests.As the results,AgNO3,Vitamin C can reduce the browning of the tissues;Plant growth regulator,active carbon,AgNO3,Vitamin C have a higher effect on calli yields;Vitamin C,harvest time,carborn source,AgNO3 have a higher effect on embryogenesis.A new modified culture medium was concluded.
