Abstract: ‘Suyu’is a new late ripening pear cultivar，which was bred by crossing‘Mili’and ‘Dangshansuli’. The fruit is extremely globose in shape. The peel is green yellow. The average single fruit weight is 394.3 g. The flesh is white，crispy and rich juicy，fine texture with aroma. The core is small. The soluble solids content is 12.8%. The tree growth potential is stronger with spreading tree gesture. The fruit development period is around 150 days and it matures at middle-late September in Changli. The yield is 47 332.1 kg · hm-2. It has long storage which could be continued to the next year and kept the former flavor under the condition of 0–1 ℃ and relative humidity 90%–95%.
