Abstract:

‘Yungui Cui Cheng’,a new few-seed sweet orange cultivar with an orange-yellow thin rind,was selected from‘Xiangshui Cheng’strain. It grows strongly. The fruit is nearly round in shape,and the fruit shape index is 0.94. After ripening,the average fruit weight is 120.5 g. The pulp is orange-yellow,fibreless and crisp,with good flavor and aroma. The juice cells are elongated,containing total soluble solids（TSS）of 12.0%,total acid of 0.41%,and vitamin C of 418.0 mg · L^-1. Its full bloom occurs in early April,and the fruits mature in mid-November in Jiangjin,Chongqing City.
