Abstract: ‘Xinlü’is a new cultivar of Actinidia arguta Planch. with strong cold resistance and stora- bility，which was selected from wild kiwifruit groups. The fruit is obovate with green and smooth peel，the average fruit weight is 12.4 g and the maximum fruit weight is 17.0 g，fruit shape index is 1.22. The flesh is green and tender，which is rich in juice and taste pleasant sweetness and sourness. Soluble solids content is 15.7%，soluble sugar content is 7.9%，total acid content is 1.2% and vitamin C content is 465 mg ? kg-1. The fruit quality is excellent. It can be planted in the open field and the fruit ripen in the early September in Jilin. This cultivar can bear fruits after 3–4 years planted，which has high yield of 9 832.8 kg ? hm-2.
