Abstract: ‘Xizhoumi 24’is a new mid-early maturing muskmelon hybrid culivar with superior quality. The fruit weight is about 1.5 kg. The fruit is oval and its skin is yellow with fine netting. The flesh is orange and crisp texture，sweet taste，the flesh thickness is 3.5–4.0 cm，the center soluble solids content is 17.0%–19.0%. The whole growth period is about 85 days and the fruit development period is 40 days. The yield is 45 t ? hm-2. It is resistant to powdery mildew and storage and transportation.
