Abstract: ‘Chengzhimeng’is a new colored-leaf cultivar which is selected from the seedling of Acer rubrum. The leaves gradually turn orange in early October and become orange red and bright when the discoloration period is completed. The optimum ornamental period for the‘Chengzhimeng’leaves is in early November，lasting for 30–35 days. Three-year-old tree can blossom and bear fruit. The blooming period is in early April，and samara gradually becomes ripe in mid-June.‘Chengzhimeng’has strong resistance that can be cultivated wildly in eastern，central，northern and northeastern area of China.
