Abstract: The‘Qinyuanying’is a new Cerasus yedoensis cultivar，which was selected from the bud mutation of Cerasus yedoensis‘Somei-yoshino’. The‘Qinyuanying’is a deciduous tree that the leaves fall in November in Changsha City of China. The leaves at maturity are long elliptic，papery，with adaxial velutinous. There frequently are white velutinous on the petioles and two glands on their apexes. The flowers emerge before the leaves in early spring that the start of flowering is in middle to late of March and final flowering stage from end of March to early April. They are ovate with five petals.
