Abstract: ‘Zhenlü 55’is a new early-maturing Qingmaye Chinese cabbage hybrid developed by crossing self-incompatible lines‘J537’with‘Q667’. Its growth period is about 65 days. The plant is 42.5 cm in height，49.5 cm in width. Its leaf head is 39.2 cm in height，11.5 cm in diameter. The head shape index is 3.4. Its average head weight is about 2.0 kg. The plant type is vertical with dark green and light wrinkled outer leaves and light green petiole. Its leaf head is long cylinder-shaped with green outer leaves and yellow central leaves. It has good commodity quality.‘Zhenlü 55’has strong resistance to downy mildew，black rot and virus. It is suitable to be cultivated in autumn in north of China.
