Abstract: ‘Ningqi 5’is bred from male-sterile wolfberry cultivar plant（YX-1）by asexual plant propagation. It shows good characteristics such as vigorous growth，high yield，high nutritional components. The largest fruit weight 3.2 g，average weight 1.1 g. The fruit average vertical diameter 2.54 cm，transverse diameter 1.74 cm，fruit pulp thick 0.16 cm，content 15–40 grain seeds. In dry fruit，the total sugar content，lycium barbarum polysaccharide content，carotenoid content，and betaine content are 560 mg · g^-1，34.9 mg · g^-1，1.20 g · kg^-1 and 9.8 mg · g^-1，respectively. The fresh fruit grain is big，the meat is thick，the fruit shape is exquisite；At the same time，it does not lose the Ningxia wolfberry unique medicine fragrance.
