Abstract: ‘Ziyulian’，a new Melia azedarach cultivar，was selected from the variation plant of Melia azedarach seedlings. The cultivar has ellipse crown and pinnate compound leaves. The bark is dark green with white lenticels lines arranged in horizontal lines，but less longitudinal crack. The fruit peel is bright green with obvious luster. The fruit stays on the branches and does not fall through the winter，the peel unfolds. It is fast-growing and insect-resistant. It has great ornamental value which is suitable for cultivation in south of Beijing.
