Abstract: ‘Gaowangzao’is a new mid-late ripening table cultivar of Chinese jujube（Ziziphus jujuba Mill.）selected from the local germplasm in Anhui Province. The fruit is round with average fruit weight of 12.49 g and edible ratio of 98.87%. The fruit tastes excellent owning to its dense，crisp，sweet and delicate pulp.‘Gaowangzao’has advantages of early-fruiting，high quality and high yield. It matures in late August or early September. The fruit development period is from 100 d to 110 d. The yield is 13 500–16 500 kg • hm-2.
