Abstract: ‘Dayemen’is a new early maturing loquat cultivar selected from the seedlings of ‘Dahongpao’. The fruit is in round or oval shape with the mean and maximumsingle fruitt weight of 45.78 and 81.65 g，respectively. The peel is orange with abundant fruit skin powder and less fruit rusty spots. The fruit is sweet and slightly sour，with a thick and delicate-based slag texture. The esculent rate is 73.58% and the content of soluble solids is 12.55%. The cultivars possess strong environmental adaptabilities，such as the high anti-sunburn and anti-cracking abilities. The fruit maturity date is about 10–15 days shorter than‘Dahongpao’.
