Abstract: ‘Suzi’is a new pomegranate cultivar having large fruit size and big aril，which was selected from the progeny of‘Tunisi Ruanzi’by natural pollination. The fruit is nearly round，the peel is yellow-green with blush. The average fruit weight is 417.65 g，while the maximum of fruit weight reaches 1 077.00 g. The arils are red，the seed is semi-soft and crispy. The average weight per 100 arils is 57.65 g，the edible rate of the fruit is 66.88%. The soluble solids content is 15.1%，the soluble sugar content is 12.4%，and the titratable acid content is 0.68%. The seed hardness is 44 N • cm-2.‘Suzi’has high-yield，with a yield of 18 050.7 kg • hm-2 in three-year-old trees.
