Abstract: ‘Zhongnong Hantao 7’，a new cold resistant peach cultivar，is derived from the cross between‘Xiongyue Jutao’and‘Okubo’. Under the extreme low temperature of–23 to–20 ℃ in Huludao City，it can survive in open field without any cold-proof protection in winter. When the tree has weak growth，its posture will be more open. Its flowers are rose-shaped，and it is capable of fruiting through its own blossoms. The fruit development period is about 110 d. The fruit is round；the average weight of single fruit is 196.0 g. The pericarp is buff；the flesh is yellow and white，and it is freestone. The soluble solids content is 10.9%，the titratable acid content is 0.28%，and the vitamin C content is 76.9 μg • g-1. The yield in the first growth cycle is 12 200 kg • hm-2，and that in the second growth cycle is 31 500 kg • hm-2. It saves labor and effort to manage.
