Abstract: ‘Cuiyu 1’ is an early-middle maturity hybrid of chieh-qua. The fruit is in long cylinder shape，green skin，no furrow，big and many flowers. The single fruit weight is about 600–700 g，19.0–25.0 cm in length，6.0–8.0 cm in diameter，and 1.5–1.9 cm in flesh thickness. The flesh is green and dense. the flavor is sweet，the commodity is good. It takes from sowing to harvesting about 80 days in spring and 55 days in autumn. The general yield is 37.5–60.0 t · hm^-2. It has wide adaptability and strong resistance to wilt disease and strong stress resistance in the field.
