Abstract: ‘Suniu 2’is a new hot pepper F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred lines 2014X73 as female parent and 2014X80 as male parent. Its fruit is cow-horn shaped with light green and glossy peel，27.3 cm in length，4.2 cm in width，130 g in weight，and which contains 1.17 mg • g-1 vitamin C. It is resistant to TMV，anthracnose，and tolerant to CMV. The moderate yield can reach 67 260 kg • hm-2. It is suitable for protected cultivation in Jiangsu and Shandong provinces in winter and spring.
