Abstract: ‘Hongdi’is a new tomato cultivar developed by cross of 11FP033 as female parent and 09FP253 as male parent. It is characterized by the indeterminate growth habit，the plants grows vigorously，the first inflorescence at 8–9 nodes with 6–7 flowers per cluster. The matured fruits are red in color and round in shape. The average single fruit weight is 240–260 g，it has good hardness and crack resistance，it content 3.8% soluble solids content，56.2 mg • kg-1 lycopene and 202 mg • kg-1 vitamin C. The average fruit yield was about 120 000 kg • hm-2. The cultivar has high resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus，Meloidogyne incognita，wilt disease，leaf mildew disease，late blight and gray leaf spot，it is suitable for protected and open field cultivation in spring and autumn in Sichuan，Shandong，Shanxi and Northwest China.
